Summer break is the perfect time for kids to explore, create, and learn, and the Discovery Center of Springfield delivers all that and more with its Summer of Science camp series! These hands-on STEAM-focused camps are designed to spark curiosity and build confidence for kids ages 3–14.
With a new theme each week, campers dive into science, technology, engineering, art, and math through immersive activities, experiments, and teamwork. From gooey slime labs and candy science to robotics challenges and Minecraft engineering, there’s something to excite every interest.

Camps run weekdays from 9:00 am–4:00 pm with optional before/after care available. Small group sizes and experienced instructors make every week fun and engaging, and help campers sharpen critical thinking and problem-solving skills while having a blast.
